The ProQual Level 5 Certificate in Microneedling Treatments provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working in the beauty industry, and who wish to develop and demonstrate their competence at providing microneedling treatments.

The aims of this qualification are:

• To develop an understanding of microneedling treatments.

• To demonstrate competence at carrying out microneedling treatments, in accordance with health and safety requirements.

• To provide a progression route within the beauty industry, for those interested in providing advanced aesthetic treatments.

Candidates who wish to complete this qualification must have previously completed an Ofqual regulated Level 4 Certificate or Diploma (Awards are not accepted) in one of the following subjects:

• Aesthetic Treatments and Skin Science.

• Micropigmentation

• Dermaplaning.

• Skin Tightening Treatments.

This qualification consists of four units. Candidates must complete all mandatory units to complete this qualification. Unit Number Mandatory Units –
